Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still seeking his fourth Super Bowl ring as he enters his ninth season in the NFL.

Still, Mahomes has become one of the NFL's top players, winning two NFL MVP awards and three Super Bowl MVPs.

But Mahomes has built his resume outside of football, too. In 2023, he and his wife, Brittany, became part of the ownership group for the Kansas City Current, a team in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

As part of his growing involvement in the local sports scene, Mahomes recently treated some of his Chiefs teammates to a night out.

On Saturday, the Current hosted Racing Louisville at CPKC Stadium with Mahomes in attendance. Alongside the six-time Pro Bowler included Chris Oladokun, Brashard Smith and Omarr Norman-Lott. Even coach Andy Reid was in attendance.

"The Chiefs are in Teal Town tonight 🩵," the Chiefs posted on Instagram with numerous images of Mahomes and his teammates.

NFL fans took notice of Mahomes and his team in attendance at the Current game, leaving their thoughts on the Instagram post's comment section.

"Oh my gosh big red is big teal now and ANDY IS WEARING IT," one fan said.

"Let's get some of these Chiefs players in the Royals lineup rn! Go KC!" added another.

"This team supports one another beyond the goal posts," wrote a third.

"Awesome," commented a fourth.

"Love that support!" posted a fifth.

"ANDY!!!!!!!" replied a sixth.

Going into Saturday's match, the Current held the best record in the NWSL at 9-0-2, with forward Temwa Chawinga leading the club with seven goals.

Mahomes, on the other hand, didn't necessarily have his best statistical season in 2024, despite leading the Chiefs to the best record in the NFL. He finished completing 392-of-581 passes for 3,928 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Chiefs will open the 2025 NFL season in Sao Paulo, Brazil, facing the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5.
