Bemidji Youth Soccer Teams Shine at All-American Cup in Blaine
Jun. 8—BLAINE — This past weekend, the Bemidji Youth Soccer program sent 15 teams to compete in the All-American Cup held in Blaine, and a remarkable one-third of those teams reached the championship rounds.
Among the standout performances, the U19 girls, U14 girls, and U12 boys claimed victories in their respective divisions, securing first-place titles. However, the U19 boys and U12 girls were unable to clinch championships, as both fell short in their final matches.
The U19 girls team, under the guidance of coach Paul Ekhoff, showcased exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the tournament. Similarly, the U14 girls, coached by Dan Gannon, and the U12 boys, led by Mike Ceballos, also demonstrated their prowess on the field, bringing home coveted trophies for their efforts.
This event highlighted the depth of talent within the Bemidji Youth Soccer program, further establishing its reputation as a competitive force in youth sports.
