At the top of about every defense metric, it shouldn't be a shocker to see the Oklahoma City Thunder have multiple entrants on this year's All-Defensive Teams. In fact, it was probably one of the easier predictions to make if you followed the NBA at any level.

Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace both made one of the two 2025-26 All-Defense Teams. Holmgren made the First Team while Wallace made the Second Team.

The All-Defense First Team was made up of Holmgren, Victor Wembanyama, Rudy Gobert, Ausar Thompson and Derrick White. The All-Defense Second Team had Wallace, Scottie Barnes, Bam Adebayo, Dyson Daniels and OG Anunoby.

Holmgren finished with the second-most votes. He had 93 first-place votes and nine second-place votes. Wallace finished seventh in voting with 14 first-place votes and 66 second-place votes. The Thunder had two more players receive votes. Lu Dort had one first-place vote and 10 second-place votes. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had one second-place vote.

Having the NBA's best defense over the last two seasons, the Thunder are filled with guys who've had this honor. Holmgren, Wallace, Jalen Williams, Dort and Alex Caruso are the five guys on their roster who've made at least one All-Defense Team in their respective careers. That side of the ball has led them to become an NBA win machine with one championship banner on their resume.

Holmgren and Wallace have each enjoyed career seasons. Holmgren became a first-time All-Star this year. He averaged 17.1 points on 55.7% shooting, 8.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.9 blocks in 69 games this season. He finished runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year. Meanwhile, Wallace averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 77 games this season. He finished just shy of the NBA steals title.
