FA Women’s National League Honors Top Performers at End-of-Season Awards Ceremony
The FA Women’s National League celebrated its standout players, managers, and clubs during an end-of-season awards ceremony held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 31st. This event took place just before the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final, showcasing the achievements of athletes across the third and fourth tiers of women’s football.
The awards recognized exceptional talent from the Premier Division down to Division One, honoring those who made a significant impact throughout the 2025/26 season. Key awards included Player of the Year accolades for various divisions, with Stoke City’s Shannon Stamps earning the title in the Northern Premier Division, while Sophie Quirk from AFC Bournemouth was recognized in the Southern Premier Division.
In Division One, Imogen Porteous-Williams from Cheadle Town Stingers was named Player of the Year in the North, and Maia Clark of Worcester City took home the Midlands award. Emily Hill from Queens Park Rangers received the honor for Division One South East, while a unique joint recognition was awarded to Annie Colston of Swindon Town and Mimi Hodges of Abingdon United in the South West.
The Manager of the Year awards were also announced, with Renée Hector of Watford honored for her exceptional leadership that led to the club's third consecutive promotion in the Premier Division. In Division One, Steve Jaye of Fulham was recognized for guiding his team to the Division One South East title.

Every one of our award winners has made a real and lasting contribution to their club, their division and to the women’s game as a whole. It was an honour to present these awards and to celebrate everything that makes this league so special.”
