Final 2025-26 Philadelphia 76ers player grades: Kyle Lowry

The 2025-26 season is in the books for the Philadelphia 76ers, which means it is the time to look back on the season that was for each player. The Sixers finished 45-37 and as the No. 7 seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs before upsetting the Boston Celtics in Round 1 and falling to the New York Knicks in Round 2. They had to battle through a tough season injury-wise, but there were some good moments for everybody on the roster.

Up next in this series is Kyle Lowry, who officially made it 20 years in the league in 2025-26. He played a grand total of 14 games as he was there more so for his veteran mentorship and leadership, but his impact was felt in the locker room. He likely wrapped up a Hall of Fame career this season and is likely headed to the media due to his deal with Amazon Prime.

For Lowry, here's a look back at the 2025-26 season for him:

Lowry's season overview

A strange, but true fact for Lowry in 2025-26, he did not take a single 2-pointer. All 25 of his shot attempts were triples. He made it 20 seasons on Nov. 2 against the Brooklyn Nets when he did make a 3-pointer toward the end of the win. His biggest moment came on Jan. 12 against the Toronto Raptors when he was able to play in the final 1:57 of that contest and give the Toronto crowd some thrills. He missed his three attempts from beyond the arc, but the Scotiabank Arena acknowledged a Raptors great that night.

Lowry played a big part in the development of Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe. He was always in both young players' ears as he passed down his wisdom to them and helping them grow as players. His impact was felt more in the locker room and off the court as he continued to wind down a long and successful career.

Final grade

Obviously, this grade is more so based on his presence in the locker room rather than what he did on the floor. Either way, Lowry was important for this group. He was an extension of coach Nick Nurse and was helpful with the younger players on the roster. He deserves a lot of credit for their development.

Final grade: B
