Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier Wrestling Match "Close to Being Finalized"

It seems that Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier may have an opportunity to address their longstanding rivalry once more, this time in a wrestling competition. The animosity between the two fighters is well-documented, making them two of the most intense competitors in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA). Their feud, rivaled perhaps only by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, has seen moments of temporary reconciliation but remains a simmering conflict.

The tension has flared up again as both fighters are set to coach opposite each other on ALF Reality, the Russian equivalent of The Ultimate Fighter. Auditore recently announced via an Instagram Story that the wrestling match between Jones and Cormier is “almost confirmed” from both parties. “We’ve made a wrestling match: Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier in our PWL (Professional Wrestling League),” he stated. “It’s almost confirmed from both sides. Let’s do it!” He added that negotiations are ongoing to finalize the details.

Meanwhile, Cormier has voiced concerns that Jones may not be interested in the original proposal, suggesting that Jones is instead pushing for a submission-only grappling event. Despite the uncertainty, Cormier revealed that the financial incentives are substantial, with offers reportedly reaching seven figures. This potential wrestling match has sparked excitement among fans, leaving many to wonder if the rivalry will finally culminate in the ring.
