Nebraska Softball's Jordy Frahm Announces Exciting News After WCWS Departure
Nebraska softball standout Jordy Frahm shared the joyful news of her pregnancy in a social media update on Monday. This announcement came just a day after her team's elimination from the Women’s College World Series, where the Cornhuskers fell 3-1 to Texas at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
Frahm, who previously secured national championships with the University of Oklahoma in 2022 and 2023 before transferring to Nebraska, is married to Trey Frahm, a former player on the Nebraska baseball team. “Our greatest blessing is on the way,” she wrote in her Instagram post, revealing that their child is expected in December 2026.
A native of Nebraska, Jordy concluded her senior season with an impressive record of 21 wins and 6 losses, boasting a 1.37 ERA and 251 strikeouts across 189⅔ innings. Her prowess was not limited to pitching; she also excelled offensively, achieving a .403 batting average with 20 home runs and 51 RBIs.
This year marked a significant milestone for the Cornhuskers, as they reached the Women’s College World Series for the first time since 2013 and the eighth time in the program's history, finishing the season with an outstanding 52-8 record.
