New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani made an appearance at Game 3 of the NBA Finals, securing a standing-room-only ticket for $1,000 in the upper levels of the arena. In contrast, former President Donald Trump, who received an invitation from Knicks owner James Dolan, enjoyed his experience from a luxurious suite positioned near midcourt, encased in bulletproof glass for added security.

During the second quarter, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver joined Trump in his suite, where the former president was seen indulging in fries and sipping on Diet Coke. Among those present in the suite were Trump's granddaughter, Kai Trump, along with Dolan, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Trump’s deputy chief of staff, Dan Scavino.

Mamdani's choice of ticket reflects a more budget-friendly option compared to the lavish accommodations of some attendees, showcasing the diverse ways fans engage with the NBA Finals.
