Clemson baseball has successfully secured a commitment from Troy Sudbrook, a third baseman from Toledo, who has entered the transfer portal. Sudbrook made his announcement on social media on Monday evening, expressing enthusiasm for his new journey. "I am excited to announce my commitment to Clemson University! I want to thank everyone at the University of Toledo for an amazing experience these last four years. With that being said, I am looking forward to my graduate year and next chapter. Go Tigers,” he shared on X.

This past season, Sudbrook earned First Team All-MAC honors, showcasing his exceptional performance with a .373 batting average, 45 extra-base hits, and 71 runs batted in while playing for Toledo. Notably, he led all of Division I with 32 doubles and also contributed 11 home runs and 13 stolen bases over the course of 60 games as a starter for the Rockets.

During his three-year tenure at Toledo, Sudbrook racked up 156 starts in 160 games, boasting a career batting line of .304/.394/.509. His impressive stats include 52 doubles, five triples, and 21 home runs, highlighting his significant impact on the MAC program.
