The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced its much-anticipated return to Paris, marking the fifth consecutive year the organization will host an event in the French capital. Scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, the Fight Night will take place at the Accor Arena.

While details regarding the main event and fight card have yet to be disclosed, speculation suggests several prominent fighters could take center stage. One likely candidate is Ciryl Gane, a former interim Heavyweight champion. Should Gane face defeat against Alex Pereira at UFC Freedom 250, a return to Paris may be in his future, particularly as he has previously headlined two UFC events in the city.

Another potential headliner is Nassourdine Imavov, who finds himself in a waiting game for a Middleweight title shot. If the current champion, Sean Strickland, faces Khamzat Chimaev later this year, Imavov may need to compete again before securing his title opportunity. Given that he was the last French fighter to headline a UFC event in Paris, he remains a strong option.

Finally, Benoit Saint Denis, known as “God of War,” is also a strong contender for the main event. Despite having previously headlined a UFC Paris event in a losing effort, his popularity among fans keeps him in the conversation, especially as he aims to climb the Lightweight rankings.

UFC fans in Paris can expect more announcements in the coming weeks as the organization gears up for its return to France.
