Virginia Beach United preps for season opener against rival Lionsbridge
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The 2026 USL League Two season will open in a big way Saturday as Virginia Beach United hosts region rival Lionsbridge FC at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.
VBU is coming off a season in which it beat Lionsbridge for the CoVa Cup, but missed the playoffs by one game. After coming up short and missing the postseason, Chris Mills and his guys are hungry to get back to the USL League Two playoffs for only the second time in team history.
