The opening U.S. match will see the host nation, the United States, take on Paraguay at the Los Angeles Stadium, also known as SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, California. With matches set in world-class arenas across cities such as New York, Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami, fans across the country will have the chance to experience the World Cup atmosphere firsthand.
Mexico will host matches in three iconic cities: Zapopan, Jalisco (Estadio Akron); Mexico City (Estadio Azteca); and Guadalupe, Nuevo León (Estadio BBVA). Notably, the historic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City will serve as the stage for the tournament’s opening match, where the host nation will face South Africa.
Canada will join the festivities by hosting matches in two major cities: Vancouver, British Columbia (BC Place), and Toronto, Ontario (BMO Field).
