Where Kewan Lacy, Trinidad Chambliss, other Ole Miss stars are in 2027 NFL mock drafts
After having a program-record eight picks in 2025, including two in the first round, Ole Miss football had two players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, and neither was a first-round pick.
Early mock drafts for 2027 indicate that may not be the case again next year. Running back Kewan Lacy and defensive tackle Will Echoles are already projected to be first-round picks.
Other stars liked quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and defensive end Suntarine Perkins are also rated as top prospects.
Here's where Ole Miss' players fall in those mock drafts ahead of the 2026 season.
Where Ole Miss players are projected in 2027 NFL Draft
ESPN's mock draft is the only major one that includes two Rebels. Lacy is projected as the No. 22 overall pick going to the Houston Texans. Echoles is projected to go two picks later at No. 24 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
CBS Sports' mock draft also has the Texans selecting Lacy, but rather with the No. 20 pick, not No. 22.
The Athletic's mock draft has the highest projection for an Ole Miss player for next year. It has the New York Jets selecting Echoles with the No. 19 pick.
The Sporting News released a ranking of draft prospects, and it includes four Ole Miss players. Echoles is ranked No. 8, Chambliss is No. 12, Perkins is No. 21 and Lacy is No. 48.
In Athlon Sports' prospect rankings, Lacy is ranked the highest at No. 24, Chambliss is ranked No. 35, and Echoles is ranked No. 44.
