Angel Reese stepped up big time on Sunday to lead the Chicago Sky to their third win of the season and first against a team not named Dallas Wings.

The 23-year-old forward recorded her first career triple-double in the Sky's 78-66 victory over the Connecticut Sun, finishing with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. She also had three steals and two blocks in a true all-around effort.

Reese became just the second player to have a triple-double this season, joining Caitlin Clark who did it against the Sky in the season opener.

Following Reese's performance and the Sky's win, the team made sure to celebrate her, even giving the WNBA All-Star a water bottle shower in the locker room.

Reese's teammates also heaped praise on her, with guard Rachel Banham taking to social media to hype her up, calling her "My triple double [queen]."

What stood out from Banham's post about Reese, however, was the video she accompanied her message with. The clip showed the second-year player in the team bus, and as Banham focused the phone camera on her, Reese gave a salute and playfully wobbled her head — clearly having fun.

For what it's worth, even the WNBA was full of praise for Angel Reese after her performance on Sunday. Not only did the league call her "TRIPLE-DOUBLE BARBIE," but it also put the spotlight on her complete performance.

"Angel Reese put together a COMPLETE performance vs. the Sun to record her first career TRIPLE-DOUBLE," the WNBA wrote in a social media post, which also featured her stats from the game and some highlights.

The Sky will play the Washington Mystics next on Tuesday. Sure enough, it will be interesting to see if Reese will be able to deliver another big game for Chicago as the team looks to turn its fortunes around.
