Indiana Fever Player on Temporary Leave Reacts to New Post on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

The Indiana Fever are at the WNBA's mountaintop after a recent victory.

Indiana defeated the Minnesota Lynx for the WNBA's Commissioner's Cup Championship, earning a $500k bonus for the team for the in-season tournament win.

While the Fever were able to knock off one of the best teams in the WNBA, they were missing Damiris Dantas, who's currently on temporary leave due to an overseas commitment to the Brazilian National Team.

On Wednesday, the Fever shared Dantas' stats in the EuroBasket game, showing support to the Indiana forward.

"Another explosive performance from Damiris Dantas overseas," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever. "DD once again led all scorers & the Brazilian National Team to a 106-49 dub over El Salvador."

Dantas then responded to the post with a green heart and yellow heart emoji, seemingly giving a nod to the colors of the Brazilian flag. She also added the praying hands emoji, thinking the Fever for the support.

"💚💛🙏🏿," Dantas posted.

The Fever forward also reposted the Fever's photo on social media, sharing her achievements with fans online.

While the Indiana Fever await the return of Damiris Dantas, Stephanie White will look to lead the Fever to the promised land, having won back-to-back games before a matchup against the Las Vegas Aces.
