Lammikko's Connection To Devils Prospect

The New Jersey Devils signed a depth forward on Saturday afternoon.
Devils President/General Manager Tom Fitzgerald announced the club signed forward Juho Lammikko to a one-year, one-way contract worth $800,000.
The 29-year-old has 159 games of NHL experience, having played for the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks. He spent last season playing for the ZSC Lions of the National League (NL) in Switzerland and helped the Lions win consecutive championships the past two years.
At the international level, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward played for Finland at the 2025 WC, where he was teammates with New Jersey's 2023 second-round pick Lenni Hameenaho.
Hameenaho signed his three-year entry-level contract with the Devils in early May.
The 20-year-old spent the past six seasons in Finland with the Ässät organization. According to the press release, "The 6'1", 185-pound forward began with Ässät at the U16 and U18 levels in the 2019-20 season." In 2020-21 and 2021-22, he played at the U18 and U20 levels. Hameenaho made his Liiga (Finland's top professional league) debut with Ässät in 2022-23 and recorded 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 51 regular-season games. He later earned four points (3g-1a) in eight games during the 2022-23 playoffs with Ässät."
