Patriots CB Carlton Davis III turns heads with insane workout video

New England Patriots defensive back Carlton Davis III showed off his ridiculous leaping skills in a video posted on Overtime Athlete's Instagram stories.

The athleticism Davis displays is incredible ahead of his eighth NFL season. He is expected to play a key role opposite Patriots All-Pro cornerback Christian Gonzalez. He was signed by the team to a three-year, $60 million deal in free agency after recording 54 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass deflections with the Detroit Lions last season.

Gonzalez and Davis could form one of the best cornerback duos in the league in 2025. They are two of the league's most gifted athletes coming together in a defensive backfield that also includes Marcus Jones, along with safeties Kyle Dugger and Jabrill Peppers.

Davis' workout video generated multiple exciting responses on social media.

Davis brings a lot to the table in New England, including talent and experience. He's a former Super Bowl champion with 88 NFL starts under his belt. There's hope that experience rubs off on some of the younger, up-and-coming corners on the roster.

Signing a player like Davis could prove to be a home run move for both the present and future of the Patriots.
