Report: Trail Blazers host predraft workout with 2 potential first-round targets

Illinois guard Kasparas Jakučionis reportedly worked out with the Portland Trail Blazers over the weekend before the 2025 NBA draft, according to Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan.
Jakučionis was named to the All-Big Ten third team, averaging 15 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 44% shooting from 3-point range in 33 games. He led the team in scoring, tying the freshman record for total points in a season (494).
In addition to Jakučionis, the Trail Blazers also brought in South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles for a predraft workout. The visits are the first known workouts for each player.

Murray-Boyles was named to the All-SEC second team, averaging 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks on 58.6% shooting. He was the first Gamecocks player since Jimmy Foster in 1983-84 to average at least 16 points and eight rebounds in a season.
The Trail Blazers enter the draft with only the 11th pick. They have hosted several other potential targets ahead of the draft, including Liam McNeeley (Duke), Asa Newell (Georgia) and Jase Richardson (Michigan State), among others.
The draft will feature a two-night format for the second consecutive year, with the first round scheduled for Wednesday and the second round for Thursday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
