Social media reacts to Brice Williams finding a home with the Detroit Pistons

Former Nebraska basketball star Brice Williams signed a contract with the Detroit Pistons on Friday afternoon. Williams will get a chance to continue his basketball career after a successful 2024-25 campaign with the Huskers. He averaged 20.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He also proved to be an efficient shooter, shooting 38.5% from three-point range.

Williams transferred from Charlotte before the 2023-24 season and quickly established himself as a key scorer for the Nebraska basketball program. He was able to acclimate himself to Fred Hoiberg’s offense and provide scoring touch both from beyond the arc and with his midrange game.
