'Tis the season for Top 100 lists! Thanks largely in part to a 14-win campaign and a berth in the AFC Championship game in 2025, the Denver Broncos are being well-represented on lists of top 100 players across the media landscape.

In one of the latest lists, CBS Sports' Pete Prisco listed six Broncos players on his personal top 100 list. Several Denver players appeared on Prisco's list for the first time, including quarterback Bo Nix (No. 87), defensive lineman Zach Allen (No. 77) and pass-rusher Nik Bonitto (No. 58).

All other Broncos on the list appeared in 2025, and two of three of them improved in Prisco's mind. Guard Quinn Meinerz rose nine spots from No. 51 in 2025 to No. 42 in 2026, while left tackle Garett Bolles rocketed up from No. 74 in 2025 to No. 26 this season.

The only Bronco player to drop was cornerback Pat Surtain (from No. 9 in 2025 to No. 11). In his article, Prisco defended Surtain's decline. "His play tailed off some from the year before, when he was the league's Defensive Player of the Year," wrote Prisco. "But not by much. He remains one of the game's best cover players."

Broncos on Pete Prisco's Top 100 list

  • CB Pat Surtain (No. 11)
  • LT Garett Bolles (No. 26)
  • OL Quinn Meinerz (No. 42)
  • LB Nik Bonitto (No. 58)
  • DT Zach Allen (No. 77)
  • QB Bo Nix (No. 87)

The Broncos head into the 2026 season as a serious Super Bowl contender. After falling just short of the championship in 2025, they have all the motivation to get back to the top this fall. The climb begins when training camp officially opens on July 31.
