All-Star Game 2026: Know Before You Go and Everything In-between
With the World Cup Fever leaving the city, Jaylen Brown a Sixer, and the Flyers failed offer sheet of Leo Carlsson…the focus has shifted back towards the MLB All-Star Game activities hosted by yours truly, Philadelphia.
We are just hours away from the launch of MLB All-Star Week that should have something for everyone who loves baseball. Each day will represent an opportunity to take the in the festivities one way or another. The Phillies and MLB were kind enough to showcase both highlights of offerings at Citizen’s Bank Park for the All-Star Game itself, as well as a sneak preview of the All-Star Game Village at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
If you are coming from out of town and need some suggestions for things to do at Citizen’s Bank Park and Philadelphia, check out these guides:

Saturday: 2026 MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express
The All-Star break wouldn’t be complete without the MLB entry draft. We got a brief tour of the showroom and it looks fantastic. Draft begins at 1:00pm ET and will be on NBC/Peacock with additional coverage on MLB Network and mlb.com. Your Philadelphia Phillies first selection will be at #36 overall.
Sunday: All-Star Sunday
MLB All-Star Future’s Game presented by Nike
As with tradition, another chance to showcase the future of MLB talent will take place with the Futures Game. So many stars have come out of this game to make a huge MLB impact including current Phillies like Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm, Bryson Stott, Justin Crawford, Aaron Nola, Kyle Schwarber…just to name a few. This year the Phillies are sending Gage Wood (SP) and Wen Hui Pan (RP). The game will be at 12:00PM ET at Citizen’s Bank park. Yes, tickets are still available.
MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3 presented by Ito En
New this year, replacing the traditional Celebrity Softball Game, is the 3-on-3 skills competition. For those not familiar with this 3-on-3, here is an explainer from mlb.com:
“it’s a 3-on-3, high-energy, co-ed competition where players need to bash homers at the plate and rob them in the field. Each player will have one two-minute at-bat during a three-inning game, while the opposing team will set up their three players in the outfield. Teams earn a point for each home run and a point for each catch. Bonus points can be earned by hitting balls through a center-field target placed above the outfield fence or calling for a hot streak of five swings where offensive and defensive points count double. At the end of a game, the team with the most points wins.”
The four team captains are Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino…and Andruw Jones (boo). They will each be joined by a AUSL All-Star and one celebrity athlete (two announced so far are the Eagles’ Devonta Smith and Terrell Owens. It should be a lot of fun based on the preview we saw at CBP. Tickets are available!
Monday: T-Mobile Home Run Derby
For me, the Home Run Derby is the true highlight of the All-Star Weekend festivities. Mashing taters never gets old and to see the distance these guys put on the ball is awe-inspiring. Of the eight hitters to participate, seven have been announced: Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Jac Caglianone, Junior Caminero, Wilsson Contreras, Ben Rice, and Jordan Walker. That is some serious power that is sure to be entertaining. There will be three rounds to determine the winner. This will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix at 8pm ET, live from Citizen’s Bank Park.
Tuesday: MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard
(and a Red Carpet Pre-Show if you are interested in that)
All of these activities and events culminate in an eventual All-Star Game. The sold-out event will be at Citizen’s Bank Park starting at 8pm ET on FOX. Coverage begins at 7pm ET. You can see rosters for the American and National League teams here. Of your Phillies, Brandon Marsh will be a starting outfielder, his first ASG appearance of his career. He’ll be joined by other first-timers in Jhoan Duran and Jesus Luzardo. Cristopher Sanchez was named to his second All-Star team. Rounding out reserves are Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.
There will be plenty festivities surrounding the park prior to the game as well as great food options that only Citizen’s Bank Park can bring you. New for this game is the fan-voted Betsy’s Banana Puddin’ Sundae which is vanilla soft-serve topped with peanut brittle, hot fudge, strawberry sauce, toasted marshmallow, and red/white/blue sprinkles. Also for those fans still disappointed that The Schmitter hasn’t been available for purchase at CBP the last few years, it will be back for the ASG and the rest of the season in Pass & Stow.
Some tickets are still available.
