The Cincinnati Bengals rolled out the news of several special events next season over the last week or so.

There’s the Open in Orange. And a “White Bengal” event. Plus, a surprise “White Bengal Stripe" event on New Year’s Eve.

Now, Elizabeth Blackburn has issued a message to Bengals fans talking about these events and what they mean in the greater context of the busy offseason for the club.

Part of the release: “Our theme games, traditions and new experiences aren't simply events on a calendar. They're declarations of who we are: Energetic. Creative. Exciting. We want to keep building community and writing the next chapter of Bengals football alongside the people who care about it most: You.”

Beyond the all-in offseason and major renovations as part of the new lease, the Bengals have pushed hard to expand their branding and traditions in recent years. That includes overseas outreach and these themed events while modernizing things like a Ring of Honor.

Regardless of the on-field results to come, the effort is there from the Bengals, so expected statements like these tend to hit home well.
