Bromley have signed goalkeeper Shamal George and defender Jacob Mendy both on free transfers.

George left fellow League One side Wycombe Wanderers earlier this summer, where he made just five appearances across two seasons, and spent last season on loan at St Mirren, helping them win the Scottish League Cup.

The 28-year-old began his career at Liverpool and had loan spells with Carlisle United, Tranmere Rovers and Marine before joining Colchester United in 2020.

He spent two campaigns with the Essex side before signing for Scottish Premiership side Livingston, where he made 80 appearances.

Mendy arrives at the London club following his exit from Peterborough, where he spent last season but saw it hampered by injury and played just 12 games.

The 29-year-old, who has three caps for Gambia, previously played for Wrexham and was part of the sides that won back-to-back promotions to the Championship.

The duo become the Ravens' second and third signings in 24 hours following the arrival of midfielder Kamil Conteh from Bristol Rovers.
