Chiefs RB Kenneth Walker No. 9 in PFF’s running back rankings for 2026

According to Pro Football Focus analysts Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick,Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III is the ninth-best player at his position in the NFL today.

”[Walker's] 91.5 PFF rushing grade was the highest of any running back in the league, while his 61 forced missed tackles were fifth,” the Pro Football Focus writers said in their ranking of all 32 starting running backs in the NFL. “Walker’s 94.1 career PFF rushing grade trails only Derrick Henry since 2022.”

Kansas City's most notable signing in free agency earlier this year, Walker originally entered the league as a second-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2022.

Walker rushed for 1,000 yards for the second time in his career in 2025 and consistently impressed fans and analysts alike with his raw natural talent. As the reigning Super Bowl MVP, Walker was among the top running backs in the NFL last season and is primed to take the next step in his already prolific career with Kansas City's newly revamped offense.
