EA Sports CFB27 roster breakdown for Ole Miss

It’s that time of year again as EA Sports releases the newest version of their college football game, the third year after its decade long hiatus. Essentially, most gamers just want the updated rosters, but sometimes companies overthink things and change way too much. This year’s game falls into that category.

NIL was introduced in this year’s version, but for now let’s just look at how this roster looks and who is missing.

Omissions

QB: George Hamsley, Rees Wise, Maealiuaki Smith

RB: Damarius Yates

OL: Cooper Johnson, Carius Curne, Connor Howes

DE: Landon Barnes

LB: Raymond Collins

DB: Cortez Thomas, Tavoy Feagin, Israel Solomon

There are certainly placeholder fake names on the roster for some of these missing players. Three fake linebackers are most notable as well as four fake offensive linemen. The second string running back is also a fake player, but not sure why.

Obviously the offense is built around Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy but man the offensive line on here is atrocious. My advice in dynasty mode, move Sanders to LT and Delano to C and give yourself a chance.

We already know the defense should be stout this season but that front seven could be the best in college football.
