Ex-Tennessee Titan Myron Rolle earns advisory role with NFLPA
On Monday, former Tennessee Titans safety Myron Rolle took on a new advisory role within the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) focusing on player health, brain cognition, and preventive care across the player lifecycle.
Rolle, a former sixth-round pick of the Titans in 2010 and Rhodes Scholar, is more than qualified for this new venture. Rolle is a pediatric neurosurgeon who will now bring his clinical expertise and research capabilities to the NFLPA, where he will join the Mackey-White Health and Safety Committee and help guide efforts to protect and enhance players' well-being throughout their professional career and into their futures.

Rolle will also take on a lead role in research, education, and policy recommendations for the league on neurological health, cognitive performance, and long-term outcomes for active and former players.
As a former player, Rolle will have a unique perspective on the game and how the league can add updated player safety regulations that make sense for everyone.
Over his three-year career, Rolle spent two seasons with the Titans (2010–2011) and was briefly with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2012) before retiring and transitioning into medicine, becoming a pediatric neurosurgeon. In all, he played in 32 games for the Titans and recorded 112 total tackles and one interception.
