The Atlanta Falcons are off for two more weeks before rookies officially report to Flowery Branch to for training camp on July 24. The team will have 12 open practices, including two joint practice sessions with the Indianapolis Colts, before the 2026 roster cut deadline.

Atlanta's relatively small six-person draft class will be joined by the team's 13 undrafted free agents, including four rookie wide receivers. The Falcons needed help at the wide receiver position and will look for someone in this group to stand out when camp begins.

In today's Falcons Wire training camp spotlight, we take a look at UDFA wide receiver Le’Meke Brockington to see what he can bring to the team in 2026.

  • 2025 Stats: 46 catches, 484 yards, 4 TD

Brockington's 2025 season was the best of his collegiate career, finishing with 484 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound wideout appeared in 45 games for the Golden Gophers, recording 80 total catches for 1,042 receiving yards.

The former Minnesota standout also has some kick return ability, which is a common trait of many of the team's latest wide receiver additions. Brockington averaged 26.8 yards per kick return over his four collegiate seasons. While his production at wide receiver was somewhat underwhelming, he has several traits that could translate to the NFL.

He doesn't have elite speed but he's quick and has elite strength for a receiver. Brockington reportedly even set a school record for wide receivers by squatting over 600 pounds. Minnesota offensive coordinator Greg Harbaugh also pointed out Brockington's blocking ability.

“If you really study our tape, you will know that Le’Meke is extremely valuable to what we do schematically,” said Harbaugh. “The things he does in the run game. He might not always be getting the ball because he might be the point of attack with a block.”

While Brockington may not have an easy path to the Falcons' 53-man roster, his all-around skill set and special teams contributions should give him a fighting chance. Here's a clip of the former Minnesota standout showing his athleticism on a catch against Cal.
