Former Georgia football star runs extremely impressive 40-yard dash
Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Dillon Bell has gotten off to an excellent start at the 2026 NFL combine in Indianapolis.
The talented route runner was credited with a 4.50 40-yard dash time on his first attempt. Bell put his speed on full display on Saturday afternoon, as the former Georgia star is widely regarded as one of the better receivers available during the NFL draft in April. At 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Bell could quickly thrive as a rookie.
Bell recorded 268 yards and two touchdowns on 27 receptions during his final season in Athens. The former Georgia star could emerge as a top wide receiver taken off the board, as Bell continues to emerge as a potential Day 2 or Day 3 selection during the draft in April. Bell’s 40-yard dash time is extremely impressive for any position group, as the talented receiver will now turn his full attention towards the NFL draft next month.
Bell is a versatile athlete that also lined up in the backfield and even played running back at times during his career at Georgia. He won a national title and three SEC championships during his UGA career.
Bell also participated in on-field drills. He hauled in an impressive one-handed catch on a poorly thrown pass at one point.
