How LeBron James’ daughter Zhuri could help the Warriors land the 41-year-old
LeBron James’ next NBA chapter could be decided by his 11-year-old daughter, Zhuri James.
Since announcing his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers, every NBA fan has been desperately waiting for LeBron James’ announcement about his future in the league.
It’s confirmed that James is returning for a 24th NBA season, but he’s yet to reveal his next team. As of now, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Golden State Warriors remain the favorites to land LBJ.
Speaking of which, the Warriors have received a massive boost in their pursuit of James, thanks to his daughter, Zhuri James.
Zhuri James’ schooling could force LeBron James to join the Golden State Warriors
At 41 years old, LeBron obviously prioritizes his family over any other factor in making his next NBA team decision.
Keeping that in mind, the New York Post’s recent report about Zhuri’s role in James’ much-awaited free agency decision certainly makes a lot of sense.
“Zhuri has lived in Los Angeles since she was a preschooler. It’s where her friends are. It’s where she’s becoming a volleyball star. Uprooting her would be extremely difficult,” the report revealed.
It added, “That’s why it’s hard to imagine James choosing anywhere besides Golden State to finish his career.”
Now, that’s solid reasoning. Additionally, from a basketball standpoint, a James-Stephen Curry duo would be unreal, even though the two stars are in the twilight years of their careers.
Either way, Warriors fans’ hopes of signing James as a free agent hinge on whether his daughter is willing to move outside of LA or not.
