Elsewhere, Washington Freedom booked their spot in the final by defeating San Francisco Unicorns by seven runs in Eliminator 2 on Friday. Defending a total of 238, Freedom found themselves under pressure as Unicorns skipper Matthew Short produced a stunning unbeaten 121 off just 56 deliveries, threatening to take the game away.
However, Saurabh Netravalkar and Mitchell Owen held their composure in the closing overs to keep the Unicorns just short of the target.
