Is second-year Boston Celtics forward Hugo Gonzalez ready for a bigger role after his breakout play in the NBA's 2026 Las Vegas Summer League?The Madrid, Spain native suited up for the Sin City Celtics for just three contests in the annual summer exhibition series, but showed off a strong on-ball role at that level with a much higher usage rate than anything he has done in the NBA to date.

And while his efficiency (31.8 percent) from the floor overall (and his shot from beyond the arc -- 25.9 percent -- in particular), Gonzalez mostly did well in that roll for the Summer Celtics, logging 18.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.7 steals per game over that trio of contests.
