There's a sign behind home plate at Fenway Park with a simple message: KIDS EAT FREE WHEN RED SOX WIN.
Well, in case you haven't noticed, the Boston Red Sox can't stop winning. Through Monday night, they've won 14 games in a row.
That sounds like a lot of free eats.
And yeah, it's a real promotion. It's sure getting a lot of play right now.

How does Red Sox 'kids eat free' promotion work?
This is a promo put on by Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub.
In the day following a Red Sox win, you can get one free kids meal per child (age 10 and under) with the purchase of an adult entree.
The full promotional conditions are as follows, via the official flyer:
"Free kids meal is valid the day after the Red Sox win for child age 10 and under. Kids meal must be ordered off the kids menu. Child must be present to receive free kids meal. Kids beverage, tax and gratuity are not included. Purchase one adult entrée and receive one free kids meal. Limit two free kids meals per party. Not valid with any other 99 REWARDS, offers, discounts, or coupons including Happy Hours."

There definitely aren't going to be many complaints in Boston about a 14-game win streak for the franchise.
They've pulled within a single game of the longest streak in franchise history, a 15-gamer set in 1946.
Eighty years later, the Red Sox are trying to set a new record. And while they're doing it, the kids are eating well.
