This past week, I asked for you to assess how Michigan State came out of the soap opera that was the last two or so months, from the first reports of board of trustees drama to the naming of Jon Palumbo as interim athletic director. It turns out that just about half of you feel that there was no net change to MSU’s position, while a third believe we are in a better spot. Of course, only time will truly reveal this answer, but I am pleased to see that few people think that this ordeal left MSU in a worse spot. Hopefully it turns out that there was good reason not to be pessimistic.
