Nebraska football has recently landed several significant commitments in the class of 2027. On Monday, the Huskers picked up four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor.

Taylor is the class of 2027's 22nd overall commitment and the fourth prospect ranked inside the top-100. The four-star receiver is ranked 90th overall according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

The Pennsylvania native is joined in the top-100 in the 2027 class by interior offensive lineman Jordan Agbanoma, safety Tory Pittman and quarterback Trae Taylor. The Huskers have not had this many top-100 commits in a single class since the class of 2005.

That group featured running backs Marlon Lucky and Leon Jackson, linebacker Phillip Dillard and defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh. That class finished tenth in the nation on signing day.

Nebraska's class of 2027 is ranked 18th overall and sixth in the Big Ten according to Rivals. Should these results hold, it would be a dramatic improvement on the class of 2026, which only had 12 commits, ranked 87th overall and 18th in the Big Ten.
