NFL survey reveals top QBs for 2026: Did Steelers' Aaron Rodgers make the cut?

There's little debate that quarterback is one of the most important positions in all of sports, and ESPN recently surveyed NFL executives, coaches, and scouts to answer one huge question: who are the best quarterbacks in 2026? Well, results wasn't exactly great news for Aaron Rodgers of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Courtesy of ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, here's a look at the ten best quarterbacks according to the recent survey.

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
3. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
4. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
5. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
6. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
7. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
8. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
9. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
10. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Honorable mentions: Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold, Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love, San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield, Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts

Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos, Daniel Jones of the Indianapolis Colts, and C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans also received votes, which only further begs the question: what kind of grudge did these NFL execs, coaches, and scouts have against Rodgers?

It's tough to argue against Rodgers not making the top-10, but not receiving a single honorable mention nor vote is completely insanity. Hopefully the disrespect will only serve to fuel Rodgers' fire heading into what's likely his final season in 2026.
