Ortiz grand slam powers Red Wings sweep of Jumbo Shrimp

Adams capped his two-RBI night with a sacrifice fly to left, scoring House to make it 11-1. Alderman’s RBI single in the ninth produced Jacksonville’s second run. 

Luis Perales followed opener Zach Penrod and allowed one run on five hits over 4⅔ innings while striking out seven to earn the win and improve to 4-4. 

Jack Sinclair closed out a staff effort that limited the Jumbo Shrimp to eight hits and struck out 12. Rochester collected 12 hits, with Andrew Pinckney, Brady House and Cayden Wallace each recording multiple hits. Ortiz finished with four RBI as the Red Wings completed a three-game sweep of Jacksonville.
