In the Oklahoma City Thunder's second NBA Summer League game of the year on Monday night in Salt Lake City, former Iowa basketball star Payton Sandfort had himself a sensational performance against the Atlanta Hawks.

Despite the Thunder falling short against the Hawks, 82-77, the former Hawkeye finished with a game-high 25 points on 6 of 10 shooting, 4 of 6 from 3-point land, and 4 for 4 at the free-throw line, along with four rebounds and two assists in 21:03 of playing time.

Additionally, Bennett Stirtz recorded nine points on the night, along with three assists and two rebounds in 29:08 of action, with a nifty give-and-go alley-oop to former Michigan Wolverine center Aday Mara, bookending his showing against Atlanta.

The final trio of former Hawkeyes to get playing time in the Thunder's Monday night contest was Josh Dix, who was held scoreless but contributed two assists and gathered one rebound in his 17:23 of playing time.

Former Hawkeye Brendan Hausen also got some run for the Memphis Grizzlies in its second Summer League date. Hausen saw nine minutes of action, shooting 1 of 5 from beyond the arc and scoring six points in the Grizzlies' 109-100 loss against the Utah Jazz.

The Thunder will close out their Salt Lake City Summer League action tonight against the Utah Jazz from the Jon M. Huntsman Center at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and available on Amazon Prime Video.
