This might actually be happening.
Those rumors about Aaron Donald returning from retirement to re-join the Los Angeles Rams and play with Myles Garrett? They're real.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport spoke on their channel Thursday night and used two words that will have Rams fans especially excited: "Real possibility."
That's how he described the chances of Donald making a comeback.

Donald is first going to push himself in his workouts to prove to himself that he still has the intensity level it would take to return to the NFL.
The future Hall of Famer has already been in the Rams' facility to workout, which also points in the direction of a possible return.
Donald retired after the 2023 season, having recorded 8.0 sacks in his final campaign.

He finished his career at age 32 after 10 seasons with 111.0 sacks. Donald said at the time that he felt "there was nothing left for him to accomplish."
Now? It certainly would be intriguing for Donald to play next to Garrett, another future Hall of Famer.
Opposing offensive lines would feel great not having to see that partnership.
But the Rams have Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua leading the offense. If they had Garrett and Donald on defense? Look out.
