Rookie Ebuka Okorie sparks Pistons' offense in loss to Heat
Both the Detroit Pistons and the Miami Heat had the same 1-3 record coming into Friday's game looking to finish the summer with a win, but the Pistons' losing streak continued for their fifth and final summer league game appearance this year with a 101-87 loss to the Heat.
The Pistons grabbed an early lead in the first quarter, and later extended it to a 15-point lead in the third quarter, but it soon became a nail-biting game. There were 10 lead changes and five ties as the Pistons finished shooting 41% from the field (27-for-66).
Ebuka Okorie had his best shooting performance, finishing with 27 points which was the most points he’s had in the NBA Summer League.
