Sean O'Malley predicts that the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship headliner will end quickly.
Conor McGregor (22-6) returns after a five-year hiatus to run it back with Max Holloway (27-9) in the main event of UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 11. While O’Malley’s heart is siding with McGregor, he sees a path to victory for Holloway as well.

O’Malley is confident McGregor will land his signature left hand early. However, “Suga” isn’t sure if the Irish superstar’s left hand will be enough to knock out Holloway at welterweight, as “Blessed” will barely be cutting any weight.
“My heart’s telling me, Conor McGregor. My mind’s telling me Max Holloway goes in there, maybe gets cracked early, but at 170 I don’t know if he’s gonna be able to get put away,” O’Malley said in a video posted to his YouTube channel. “Conor’s gonna land those big shots; Conor is going to land that left hand…”
The former UFC bantamweight champion notes that Holloway is confident in his chin and doesn’t mind getting hit. He added that McGregor might put himself at risk while trying to land his power shot, which might not even be a fight-ending blow. Nevertheless, O’Malley foresees McGregor finishing Holloway.
“Guys like Max don’t really care to get hit,” he added. “That might be dangerous for Max, but it might be dangerous for Conor to try to land that shot and not get him out of there… With all that being said, I got Conor McGregor, Round 1, 12-second KO.”
While McGregor has finished 19 of his 22 career wins via KO/TKO, Holloway has only been knocked out once in his entire career, by Ilia Topuria.
