See all the records Kelsey Mitchell and the Indiana Fever set vs New York Liberty
INDIANAPOLIS — Aliyah Boston emoted while teammate Kelsey Mitchell sat beside her on stage, completely straight-faced and entirely unfazed as her individual accomplishments were listed off following the Indiana Fever's 108-88 win over the New York Liberty.
"I'm not a stats person," Mitchell deadpanned.
"I'm appreciative and am definitely grateful, definitely humble, but it ultimately comes down to not wanting to give in too much, not wanting to get too high or too low," she continued. "If you get too high into it, you lose your mind. I like to think that all the success I've had lately comes from my teammates and the organization across the board. It's about chemistry. I want to see them win, they want to see me win. It's a good relationship to have."
Mitchell's not a stats person, but we sure are.
Here's what the WNBA All-Star accomplished with Saturday's 33-point performance.
>> This was Mitchell's second consecutive 30-point game and fourth overall this season, which ties the franchise record for such games in a single season. That record is held by Caitlin Clark (2024) … and Mitchell (2025). It took Mitchell 35 games last year to reach her fourth 30-point scoring game.
>> Mitchell has finished in double figures in 41 consecutive games, extending her franchise-record streak. It's the 20th longest streak in WNBA history.
>> Mitchell has scored 20-plus points in 10 consecutive games, the fifth-longest streak in league history. She has 128 games with 20-plus points, moving her ahead of Candace Parker for 12th-most in WNBA history.
>> Mitchell is also closing in on her own franchise record for 20-point games in a single season. She's currently at 18. The record stands at 24 and was set last season.
>> The former Buckeye has 606 points on the season, good for eighth-most in franchise history. The Fever have 18 games remaining.
>> The Fever scored 100 points for the 10th time this season, one away from tying the 2023 Aces for most in a single season in WNBA history.
>> Indiana's 65 second-half points marked the most points scored in franchise history.
>> Myisha Hines-Allen became the only player in Fever history to earn a +20 plus/minus rating in under 15 minutes played. She posted a +22 in 14 minutes off the bench.
>> Caitlin Clark moved past Tan White (453) for the 15th-most field goals in franchise history with 457.
>> And finally, the Fever's 20-point victory marked their largest since 2009 when trailing by at least 10 points. They trailed by as many as 13 against the Liberty.
