Strasbourg aim high with requested pricetag for Moreira

The signing of the Belgian international, however, is proving more complicated than expected. In recent days, there has been a sudden setback.

Despite an agreement on the player’s contract, which would see him earn around €2 million in the capital, Tony D’Amico hasn’t been able to soften Strasbourg’s demands for his transfer.

The Giallorossi, writes Il Corriere dello Sport, have no intention of going beyond €30 million. The French club, for their part, are sticking to their €40 million asking price. A €10 million gap, however, doesn’t seem to be a problem for the deal to be successful: with a little sprucing up, the Roman club could close the deal.
