Tennessee men's basketball's SEC schedule was revealed on July 27, finalizing the 2026-27 schedule.

The Vols will begin conference play on Jan. 2 when they host Vanderbilt at Food City Center. It will be the first of Tennessee's nine home SEC games, with other home matchups against Missouri (Jan. 12 or 13), Arkansas (Jan. 16), Florida (Jan. 30), Georgia (Feb. 2/3), Kentucky (Feb. 13), Alabama (Feb. 20), South Carolina (Feb. 23) and Mississippi State (March 2/3).

Tennessee's road conference games are against Auburn (Jan. 5/6), LSU (Jan. 9), Kentucky (Jan. 23), Texas A&M (Jan. 26/27), Missouri (Feb. 6), Oklahoma (Feb. 9/10), Ole Miss (Feb. 16/17), Texas (Feb. 27) and Vanderbilt (March 6).

Tennessee’s conference opponents have been known since June, though dates were yet to be announced. Game times and broadcast information will be revealed at a later date.

The Vols finished fifth in the SEC last season. In 2026-27, they will host the four teams that placed ahead of them: Florida, Alabama, Arkansas and Vanderbilt — which they also play away in the regular-season finale.

Tennessee's nonconference schedule

Tennessee announced its 14-game nonconference schedule on July 22, and it starts with five straight home games, highlighted by a matchup with Michigan State on Nov. 17.

The Vols will also be playing in the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas, with matchups against Maryland (Nov. 24, 3 p.m. ET), Iowa State/San Diego State (Nov. 26) and a third team to be determined. Their other power conference opponents before SEC play are Florida State (Dec. 1) in the ACC/SEC Challenge, at Purdue (Dec. 11) and NC State (Dec. 6) at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

All told, Tennessee will play 18 home games, 10 true road games and four neutral-site games in the 2026-27 season.
