The Duke-Michigan Game In Miami Is OFF
The Duke-Michigan, first scheduled for Madison Square Garden, and then for Miami, has been canceled.
Apparently, things just got too complicated. You’ll recall that the Big Ten claimed it had the broadcast rights to a game that was going to be on Amazon Prime, and then after all of that, Dusty May bolted for the Dallas Mavericks.
So it’s back to MSG, only this time, it’s a rematch with Texas Tech. You’ll recall that the teams played last season, with the Red Raiders winning 82-81.
Unfortunately, JT Toppin, Grant McCasland’s best player and a legitimate first-team All-American candidate, will not play after suffering an ACL injury last season, but Texas Tech is still a challenge.
This game will be part of the three-game Prime deal Duke has with Amazon.
