Top Kansas City Chiefs players to draft in fantasy football
The Kansas City Chiefs underperformed in 2025, but should be uniquely positioned to impress fans with a high-flying offensive approach next season after retooling their roster in free agency and the NFL draft.
With Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III in the backfield, two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes under center, and a rejuvenated defense to hold opponents to minimal gains, the Chiefs may have enough firepower to punch their ticket to another Super Bowl.
Take a look at these four Chiefs players who managers should consider selecting in fantasy football drafts this season:
WR Rashee Rice
Rice may see his role in Kansas City's offense diminish as the Chiefs turn their attention to the ground game, but the former SMU Mustang is one of Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets and should get plenty of playing time as one of the team's top wideouts.
TE Travis Kelce
Always one of Kansas City's most consistent producers, Kelce should be considered one of the top tight ends in fantasy football next season, even if Patrick Mahomes struggles when he returns to action.
WR Tyquan Thornton
A true boom-or-bust burner, Thornton showed flashes of exceptional ability last season and seemed to have established a great rapport with Mahomes in limited action. If he takes a big step forward in 2026, the former Baylor Bear could be one of the top fantasy sleepers in the NFL next season.
RB Kenneth Walker III
Walker is expected to be the centerpiece of Kansas City's new-look offense, and may even exceed the outstanding production he achieved in 2025 during the Seattle Seahawks' incredible run to victory in Super Bowl LX.
