Verstappen reports unusual engine behaviour: 'This engine is not responding normal'
Max Verstappen complained over the team radio about unusual engine behaviour on his RB22 during British Grand Prix qualifying.
The Dutchman currently sits fifth behind his team-mate, who had also come out on top in Q1 by setting the fastest time of the opening session.
"This engine is not responding normal," Verstappen reported over the team radio to his race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, as he waits to see where he will ultimately qualify.
"Ah this is... what a disaster. Unbelievable," he later added after completing his lap, insisting that the issues are still affecting his runs.
