Circle up. The 24 candidates for the 2026 Daily News Fans Softball Player of the Year showed they can hang with anyone in the state.
Our list includes state champions, league MVPs and rising stars.
There are 15 schools represented led by Division 5 state finalist Hopedale with three choices. Undefeated Division 4 state champion AMSA, Ashland, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Nipmuc, Tri-County and Wayland each present multiple options.
