Although the Warriors could potentially lose Quinten Post to the Memphis Grizzlies, there's a chance that Golden State could make another meaningful veteran addition. According to Warriors insider Anthony Slater, the team will "look into" signing DeMar DeRozan after he was waived by the Sacramento Kings Monday.

Although DeRozan is past his prime, the 17-year veteran is one of the better scorers of his generation, averaging 16 points per game or more in 16 of his 17 NBA seasons. Last year with Sacramento, DeRozan averaged 18.4 points, 4.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and one steal. DeRozan is also quite durable, playing over 30 minutes per game in every season since his rookie year. Not to mention, the six-time All-Star has a knack for coming up clutch in big moments, something he's done at previous stops like Chicago.

All in all, for the expected price, DeRozan would be a solid pickup for Golden State, regardless of if the team is able to land LeBron James.
