The recruiting battle for five-star running back David Gabriel Georges is nearing a conclusion.

Gabriel Georges is one of the most sought-after prospects in the nation, ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 10 player in the class of 2027, No. 2 running back and top prospect from Tennessee. His recruitment has narrowed to three finalists: Tennessee, Ohio State and Ole Miss.

He plays for Baylor School in Chattanooga, where as a junior he totaled 1,749 yards with 27 touchdowns.

Gabriel Georges will announce his decision on July 22 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

How much money is Tennessee, Ohio State offering for David Gabriel Georges?

Chris Low of On3 confirmed that Tennessee has the largest NIL offer on the table in the range of $2 million per year for three years. He added that Ohio State's offer is around $1 million annually.

According to Gabriel Georges' uncle, Jean Agenor, NIL won't be the sole deciding factor.

"We understand there is an opportunity for him to get ahead in life because of NIL and the opportunities he'll get, but that's not the main thing,” Agenor told Low. “That's never been the main thing. We played the long game to benefit him so he can basically maximize his earning potential but that was just a good business strategy. We want him to get that second NFL contract."

David Gabriel Georges will announce his commitment on July 22 at 5:30 p.m. ET. His decision will be streamed on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel.
