We're monitoring the cut line at the 3M Open to see which golfers will or won't make the cut.

Hideki Matsuyama is the second-highest-ranked player in the field, but the world No. 30 sits below the projected cut line after hitting into the water on his last hole of Round 1. He comes into play today at 1 under.

A host of players need to make the cut to keep alive their hopes of staying in or breaking into the top 70 of the FedEx Cup standings to qualify for the playoffs in three weeks. Ricky Castillo currently has the last spot; his even-par first round wouldn't be enough to hang around to play the weekend. Max Homa, Sudarshan Yellamaraju and Sungjae Im could also use a boost today. Keep scrolling for the latest updates from TPC Twin Cities.
